Mops Plus 15/16x60" Clip On Dust Mop Handle features a lacquered BamWood handle and 12 gauge steel hardware with double torsion springs which keep the handle securely fastened to the frame. The handle is made from 65% bamboo and 35% post consumer hardwood. It's as strong as a 100% hardwood handle but is more sustainable since bamboo grows exponentially faster than regular hardwood. The hardware is powder coated which is much more environmentally friendly than the chrome or zinc plating that most other handles are finished with.
